Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword just sliced the “least popular Zelda entry” opinion to pieces.
Earlier this weekend, Skyward Sword was listed as “temporarily out of stock” on Amazon’s US & UK storefronts. Keep in mind the game isn’t available yet and is only listed as a pre-order.
Currently In Stock!
However, that “out of stock” status was only temporary. As of writing, I could pre-order a copy on Amazon, but it was still listed as a Best-Seller on the online retailer’s website.
That’s good news for those of us eager to get a copy. I haven’t played this game in almost 10 years, so I can’t wait to literally dive back into this world again.
Unpopular Opinions?
As I stated earlier, Internet opinions aren’t always the truth when it comes to a game’s popularity. Many have listed Skyward Sword as their least favorite entry in the franchise. Still, that hasn’t stopped a nearly 10-year-old game from reigning supreme on Amazon.
Of course, that speaks to the overall popularity and branding of the series as a whole. Zelda has an extremely loyal fanbase, after all. Plus, Skyward Sword was only available on the Nintendo Wii before now, even though previous entries were later ported to the Wii U such as Twilight Princess and Wind Waker.
Are You Getting It?
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is scheduled for release on July 16th of this year. You can currently pre-order physical and digital copies from most retailers that supply games.
Will you be getting a copy? Let me know!
